• Checking websites and keeping systems up to snuff, upgrades etc.
• Checking websites when they go live for issues, registering sitemaps etc.
• Handle website migrations, DNS and email issues etc.
This person needs to stay on top of the ever-changing server landscape and make things run more smoothly for web developers.
This person needs to be a skilled UNIX sysadmin with Perl/PHP/Bash-scripting knowledge along with good MySQL and DNS skills.
Drupal and CPanel/WHM familiarity would also be a plus.
This is envisioned as a part-time / contract position to start, but could grow to full-time quickly if combined with other duties (SEO, web development) based on experience and interests.
